We are now over half way through the 2018-2018 school year at North Island Secondary School. Our second semester provides a fresh beginning and an opportunity to continue on the student learning successes of first semester.

The course selection process for 2018-2019 begins at the end of February and soon students will be asked to make some decisions about their courses for the next school year. We will be meeting with students at the beginning of March to discuss options and complete course selection forms. We will also be hosting an evening meeting on Wednesday, March 7th at 6:00 p.m., so that parents can help students make the best decisions about their courses.

Parents and teachers significantly influence children’s lives each day. We all have a privilege and responsibility to work with your children. Young people are our greatest resource on Northern Vancouver Island. Making a positive impact in the lives of our students is vital because we all know that their learning influences our future.
